Registration
Registration for Internationally Educated Applicants
Applicants must meet the registration requirements as outlined in the act – “An Act to Regulate the Practice of Dietetics, 2005”.
If you have been trained as a dietitian outside of Canada, the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Dietitians (NLCD) will require an assessment of your academic and practical training.
There are several steps in the process for registering with the NLCD if you are from another country. A candidate may be required to upgrade academic or practical experience as approved by the NLCD.
The applicant must complete the NLCD application process including the successful completion of the CDRE.
To complete the competency assessment there is a $400 fee that has to be submitted with all requested documentation.
Please contact the Registrar to begin the process of applying to NLCD required for your application.
